Greetings Gorgeous Friends:

For a shop that is called "Hello Gorgeous Boutique",it may sound obvious that I think greeting people is important. Things are very intense right now in the world.

As the seasons are slowly shifting from summer to fall...I notice some things:

Static Electricity at the grocery store. My skin is getting drier.

Today I also noticed, people being kind. My neighbor across the street said hello. My next door neighbor waved at me from her car. A man in the grocery store smiled at me and navigated his grocery carriage-(cart/buggy)carefully in the aisle. A younger sibling found the soda his older sibling wanted.

The cashier was welcoming, friendly, helpful, thoughtful and kind. So kind, that I was too surprised, and honestly, too emotional to let the manager know. (But I will)

These seemingly small gestures are incredibly big and amazingly essential for a community to thrive. These small gestures also make a person feel seen and part of a community, which is surprisingly affirming. Thank you to each of these people in my community for their kindness today.

I am so grateful for my time in Chamblee at the brick and mortar where I felt so much a part of the community.

I am happy to say that I think I am beginning to feel part of this community in Massachusetts, and I am grateful.

As the season changes from summer to fall,I hope we can be kind to the people in our communities. I think it will make a difference.

Thank you for your support of my small business and for reading the blog.

Wishing you a wonderful weekend,
