Coming out as Transgender means different things to different people-it may mean sharing new pronouns, a new name or a different gender identity than what someone was assigned at birth.  Coming out as Transgender is a very personal decision, and it can be incredibly scary to share this truth. When someone comes out, the best thing you can possibly do is to tell them you are thankful they are trusting you with this information,and that you want them to be free and happy to live as their truest self.
